Paperboard includes cardstock and other similar items that you can compost that are found in many dry good packaging. Cereal boxes and other similar items can be used because they are mostly made up of paperboard.

You can also recycle old egg shells if you want to. If you have some old egg shells and you do not want to just toss them in the trash, you can wash them off and put them in the microwave for about five seconds to dry them. Then, you can compost them.
